Company Overview
Bater Holding was founded by a team of experienced professionals from the pharmaceutical and medical equipment sectors, leveraging over 30 years of industry expertise in production, import, and sales. This collaboration led to the establishment of a successful company, which has evolved its structure and strengthened partnerships with various European and Asian firms over the years.
In collaboration with Mercury and Examon groups, Bater Holding has implemented efficient and secure currency exchange methods, enhancing satisfaction among foreign partners and manufacturers. Despite three decades of operations, the company remains committed to innovation and growth, with plans to expand partnerships further in 2023 and 2024.
In 2010, new government regulations prompted the formal registration of holding companies, leading to the creation of Behphar Holding and Bartar Holding. The group is based in a modern 4,000 square meter facility in Tehran, featuring an 80-seat training center to support professional development.

Our collaboration with Coloplast spans over two decades, beginning with the introduction of wound care and ostomy products in Iran. This partnership has transformed the approach to wound care, with healthcare professionals receiving training globally. Bartar has become one of Coloplast›s most valuable partners, managing the Urology Department in Iran and receiving multiple awards for contributions.
The collaboration continues to evolve, with Atos, a new Coloplast subsidiary, entering the Iranian market in 2024, enhancing offerings in laryngeal ostomies and respiratory products. Vygon, a reliable European partner for vascular access products for neonates, has worked with Teb Novin for over 15 years, maintaining strong cooperation despite economic challenges. Bartar Holding received the Top Performing Country Award from Vygon, reflecting long-term collaboration.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Bartar is committed to supporting ostomates through our comprehensive Komak® program, designed to align with Coloplast›s strategies for enhancing patient care following ostomy surgery. Our dedicated Komak® unit comprises six seasoned specialists who are available daily to address the inquiries and needs of ostomates. Additionally, we have a team of 13 ostomy nurses providing clinical care and visiting patients across ten major provinces in Iran. This multifaceted approach ensures that we deliver both practical assistance and emotional support, fostering a positive and empowering experience for those adapting to life post-surgery.
